About
Vacationers heading to Isla Mujeres can avoid the crowds on the ferry and instead enjoy a catamaran cruise that includes an open bar, sunbathing, and picturesque views. Plus, while a ferry speeds from one destination to the next, the relaxed cruise takes the time to stop and snorkel at a colorful reef. Once on the island, you have ample time to explore at your own pace.

Overall, this was a fun trip. It was nice to relax on the boat while they sailed to the island. Snorkeling was less than desired, according to those in our group that participated. They said the “underwater museum” was only several statues of hands doing peace signs. Sounded a little silly to me.
The island itself was busy busy busy. The sales folks are pretty aggressive. Rent a golf cart if you can! We unfortunately couldn’t because they were sold out, so we spent the two hours on the island shopping and relaxing at a restaurant on the beach. The food was delicious and the staff were great. There was recently (less than a month ago) a fire to two of the main restaurants on the beach, which has caused electricity issues to a few others. The staff are do their best to make you comfortable and ensure your experience is good.
I definitely don’t think this should be called a “half day”. We left the dock around 11:30am/12:00pm, then arrived back around 5:00pm. We were a little disappointed at how long it took, but the boat ride was so relaxing, we didn’t mind too much.
The “photographer” onboard is a little pushy, but overall a nice guy. He asks you to pose on the front of the boat for photos. If you say no, he doesn’t push. I could see this being annoying if you were timid or a little older just looking to relax. The price is a little crazy. I believe it was $80 or something like that. We took photos with our phones, which all turned out great too :)

The guys on the boat did a good job. It’s a nice half day excision. It’s not a giant boat but not too small. Group off 11 people. The snorkeling was ok but if you want to see a lot of sea life where you go doesn’t have that much diversity of fish. The island was fun I’d recommend not getting a golf cart because just walking to the beach, hanging out, and getting food before you know it it’s time to head back. Overall I’m happy I did it book it the night before lots of places were full. The problem with booking it months in advance is the weather could be too rough like the day before I went was very windy.

Really friendly guys and an absolute must-do for yout trip to Cancun, in my opinion. I loved the snorkeling, Isla Mujeres, and a little day drinking, but really just the peace of the ocean was worth it. Better than just going on out a speedboat if you're doing a trip just for snorkeling (which I recommend too, so you can spend more time in the water).

We returned to Isla de mujeres and I didnt expect what we saw. Super touristy and crowded. Not the quaint little island with authentic shops. We did find some deals there once we were able to mange to get off the main strip and out of the way of all those annoying golf carts. The trip there on the catamaran offered great views. Nice stop for snorkeling. Waters were crystal clear but my teenager said there was nothing to see down there. No fish. Drinks were free flowing but all were watered down. Plenty of photos were taken but at $100 that was price gouging for sure. We were able to take our own pictures though.Another thing we went for the beach as the seaweed in Cancun proper is pretty bad. Well we couldnt find a strip of beach that didnt"belong" to a restaurant out there so you had to be a customer of the restaurant to sit on the beach! Ridiculous! If we would have gotten off the main strip we probably would have found a "free" strip of beach but we just didnt have enough time. Good for shopping but way too touristy now.

Thanks for your kind comment, they are thing that are out of our hands like the tourist, the fish on the ocean, the seaweed, prices on the island. We have a reputation of an excellence bagde, so you should rate the service and not the Island because we try to do our best. Thanks

The snorkeling is supposed to be 30 minutes long. Allegedly. Long story short, my fiance and I were LEFT in the middle of the sea and actually sailed forward to isla mujeres. They did not do a head count, nor a check to see how many are on board. The people on board later informed them that they left us and eventually turned back after 15minutes.

Photography was awesome ($60 USD) unlimited high quality though. Snack was provided, guac and chips were decent and drinks as well.

No Miss, that is not the way to write things, because you know very well that the situation was not like that. First you write were LEFT in the middle of the sea. And there is no way to leave anyone in the middle of the ocean (this is not the movie Terror on the High Seas) you know very well that you got carried away snorkeling and joined another group that was not yours. And it didn't take them 15 minutes to return because the Catamaran didn't set sail, when they realized that you weren't there. when doing the count on board. Where we supposedly left you, there is a PARK GUARDIAN on the reef, you were NEVER alone. because you got mixed up (obviously not on purpose) with another group that was also snorkeling at the time. That is why it is very important that you do not get carried away by the sea, always be attentive to the indications and directions of our guides. We accept it was a mistake not seeing you go up with your group and believe me that they have already taken action on the matter, but from there to you giving WRONG information, that is what we will not accept. You were asked 3 times to make the report so that we proceeded to sanction the person who was in charge of you and yet you told the same guide that nothing had happened and that everything was fine. Dont do that please, dont give the wrong information

The catamaran itself and the staff were amazing. The snorkeling was very disappointing, I booked this tour with the main reason being to see the underwater museum. Our boat was the last one out so we swam and snorkeled for what seemed like forever to see nothing but fish and sand. It was exhausting and a big let down. The rest of the activities were awesome though.

Frankie and the crew were great. Lots of fun, music and drinks. Snorkeling was great, got to see the reef and underwater statues.
The only negative, there was an official photographer on the boat. Pictures were offered at a ridiculous $120 USD, but talked him down to $60. We were give a flash drive with pictures when leaving the boat, but once we got home, only two of the 15 photos we purchased could be downloaded, so we definitely felt ripped off.
Basically enjoy the trip, take your own photos when you can.

We greatly appreciate your comment. We are glad that you enjoy the tour with us. Regarding the photos, I regret to inform you that it is a concession that has nothing to do with the service we provide. Please contact me to see your photos. In your reservation is my information or call Viator directly asking for my information so that I can help you with your photos or that they give you a refund of them. And that I can take care of it myself, because I'm here in Cancun and I can go see them. I would have liked very much for you to contact me that same day to tell me the situation. I will be waiting for your information Thanks!

Driver Alfredo on the drive home was looking down on his phone. We were fast approaching a stopped car and I shouted "watch out!". Alfredo looked up, gasped, and slammed on the brakes. This caused a woman to fly out of her seat, hit her head, and break her glasses. The sailing was fine but they kept pushing tequila and blasting party music. I am not on spring break, and this felt very immature. Also, snorkeling was incredibly difficult. There were no life vests except these "floatation belts" which could not even cover a child's torso. They made floating very difficult and they need better equipment. Also, be prepared to pay an extra $13 per person before they let you on the boat for a "docking fee".

I booked this tour as a surprise for my Husband's birthday and the team went above and beyond to make sure it was one of the best birthday. Monica especially coordinated really very well and was able to get the cake and champagne that I had requested. The overall team was very entertaining and was one fun trip.

The trip starts off in the afternoon or even in the morning! I like the choice because I like my sleep lol. But you get picked in and taken to the marina where you pay a dock fee. The people are all very nice in welcoming. Then you board the boat and head to the underwater museum. The boat ride is nice and the crew is very attentive. There is a photographer that will take nice pictures of you and then give you the option to purchase them. The snorkeling was not to great but it’s a difficult area to get into. A ton of people want to see the musa and there only so much time. You have to swim pretty far out to it and I only got to see one sculpture. So that was the disappointing part. Then back on the boat where you head to the island. Then you get 2 hours to do whatever you want. I highly recommended renting a golf cart, we were able to get to the opposite end of the island and look around punta sur (highly recommend) and still had time to see the turtles. The crew was great the whole way constantly asking if we needed drinks or food (they give you chips with guacamole and salsa). Only disappointment was the snorkeling.
