Itinerary
Begin your tour with pickup from you Cancun hotel. Relax on the 2.5-hour drive to Chichen Itza on a climate-controlled coach and enjoy a buffet lunch upon arrival.

Then, begin your guided tour of the Mayan archaeological site, including a visit to the Kukulcan Pyramid. A guide brings the 1,500-year-old city to life with retellings of legends and history. Spend an hour of free time exploring the site on your own after the tour.

After exploring Chichen Itza, continue to a cenote for a 45-minute swim in one of the region’s famous natural swimming holes, created from collapsing limestone. Complete the day with a quick stop in the colonial town of Valladolid for a walk around the central square before returning to your Cancun hotel.

We had a very informative tour guide. As I recall, our tour guide mentioned that he either worked or volunteered at a local museum in Mexico. I would like to get in touch with this gentleman. The best way that I can... More
