Mexico City Super Saver: Teotihuacan, Tlatelolco, and Guadalupe Shrine Plus Xochimilco and Frida Kahlo
From US$111.00
Overview
With this all-inclusive tour of the city’s top attractions, avoid the hassle of planning out logistics and buying separate tickets from confusing websites. Over the course of two days, enjoy live commentary from a guide who accompanies you to Teotihuacan, Tlatelolco, Shrine of Guadalupe, Xochimilco, and the Frida Kahlo house.
What to Expect

On the first day of the tour, follow your guide to the ancient archaeological site of Tlatelolco, in the center of downtown Mexico City. Continue to the Basilica de Guadalupe and learn about its importance in Mexican culture.

Then, drive to Teotihuacan, the ancient city of pyramids. Exploring with a guide is essential, as the ruins and pyramids are unmarked and their purposes hard to determine without context. Take in panoramic views of the ancient city from the top of the Sun and Moon pyramids, before returning to the city.

Day Two begins with a trip to pre-Colonial Coyoacan. The guide points out landmarks as you walk along cobblestone streets to Casa Azul, former residence of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. Continue on to Xochimilco, an ecological reserve renowned for its colorful boats and music. The guide ensures you avoid the hassle of navigating to the site on your own.

Dangerous driver and uninformed guide

Our guide was very nice but neglected some very key pieces of information that are standard for a tour, such as when the pyramids at Tenochtitlán were built. We asked and did not get an answer, and had to Wikipedia it. There was also very...More
