Small-Group Teotihuacan Pyramids from Mexico City
US$35.00
Overview
Experience the Teotihuacan Pyramids UNESCO World Heritage Site on an affordable, small-group tour from Mexico City. A guide will escort you from Mexico City by local bus and walk through what was one of Mesoamerica’s most significant pre-Hispanic cities. You’ll see the site’s main attractions, including the Sun Pyramid, Moon Plaza and the Temple of Quetzalcoatl, without having to brave public transit unaccompanied.
What to Expect
Arrive at the Fine Arts Palace at 8am, where you’ll meet your guide at the main entrance and hop a local bus with your small group. No need to navigate Mexico City’s daunting public transit system alone.

Upon arrival at Teotihuacan, your guide will lead you on an educational walking tour of what is considered one of the most important ruins in Mexico. It is also among the most visited. Your guide will help you wind your way through the crowds and catch all the UNESCO World Heritage Site’s highlights. Stops include the Avenue of the Dead Men, Rio San Juan, the Citadel, Pyramid of Quetzatcoatl, Quetzalpapalotl Patio and the Palace of the Jaguars.

If you’re up it, you’ll be given time to climb the Sun and Moon pyramids for a view of the entire pre-Hispanic city. After your tour, your guide will escort your group back to Mexico City.

I did the Teotihuacan walking tour solo with Estacion and had a great time. I loved that the tour only covered the Teotihuacan ruins, unlike other tours that try to loop in tours of jam/spice factories and sell you things. Our guide, Carlin’s was super...More

Very informative tour

Had a tour with the guide Carmina. It was exceptional. She let us know the details and fun facts about the pyramids. The trip didn’t include any shopping (according to our guide, shopping time is given only upon request), which I liked a lot. There...More

The Author of No Touch Monkey Goes on a Tour and Loves It

The Silverback and I rarely sign up for tours, because we have a horror of small vans that divert to souvenir shops and restaurants with laminated tourist menus, but the fact that Estacion Mexico uses public transport appealed to us, and we knew we'd get...More
