The was the a lot of fun. The guides were all great. They picked us up at the port on time, the ride over to the speed boats was only about 15 minutes, and once on the boats it was full speed ahead. The snorkeling was fantastic with many fish and a turtle. We would definitely do this again.

The shuttle driver from the cruise port was great. She told us all about the island and culture. The speed boats are great fun! The speed is just right and the freedom to ride as you want was a plus. Can’t say much about the guide. He was in his own boat and never got out. We had a couple of inexperienced snorkelers and he was no help. Just threw them their gear and they were on their own to figure it out. Never even asked if anyone was a first timer. That was a little disappointing but overall this was just plan fun. I could have driven that mini speed boat all day.

This is a wide appeal activity. Awesome! We were a 25 to 64 group of 4. Everything was handled smoothly. Great quide. Need to handle snorkel stuff and boat entry/ exit yourself, NBD. Water was clear fish plentiful, saw a sea turtle/ Ray/ puffers/ and many colored fish. Ship wreck too. Can’t zoom around as you like though, it is a guided tour to a place. Fun!

The transportation to and from the venue was great. Our guide gave a nice overview of the island and its history. The guides getting the boats ready for us seemed disorganized and didn’t communicate well. The small boats were fun to ride. When we got to our snorkeling spot, however, the guides didn’t have enough swim fins for everyone. One guy took quite awhile looking for sizes and when he got to my sister and I, told us that there weren’t enough small fins. We were asked if we could swim without them. Of course we can, but that was hardly the point and there was no apology. The snorkeling was ok otherwise. We wondered how clean the masks were since we saw someone hastily scrubbing them in the ocean right before handing them out. I timed the swim since it took so long to get our equipment. We had @35 minutes to swim out of an advertised 45 to an hour swim time. Back at the dock, there was a cooler of a sweetened fruity drink and a small plate of grapes, melon and pineapple.
I’ve been on about 6 excursions-not a lot but this was the most poorly organized one yet.
Suggestions:
1. Fit everyone with snorkeling equipment before leaving the dock. There’s a large dry compartment on each boat to store it in and everyone could be set to go once we reach our swim spot. No one would have to go without the promised equipment. We paid for it.
2. Offer a little more food and drink for after. It’s over 3 hrs long. Provide bottled water at least for those who don’t want a sugary drink.
3. Say thank you to the guests. I saw people tipping the driver, but none tipping the guides on the water. I could have missed seeing someone tip, but the point is the more competent and friendlier the guides are, the more the tip. I’d actually ask for a partial refund if that was a thing.
I’m surprised at all the great reviews. I rarely leave one-I just tip and go on my way. This was just too bad to ignore.

We took a 7 day cruise out of San Juan, PR and this was one of our excursions we took while in St. Kitts. It was by far, the BEST excursion on the entire 7 day cruise. St. Kitts is a hidden gem and while we anticipated that other islands would be more beautiful, St. Kitts moved to the top of our list!

We took our mini speed boats way out the Atlantic Coast of St. Kitts into the beautiful waters. The speedboats themselves cruised at an appropriate speed, enough to feel a good breeze and enough speed to keep a smile on your face. We breezed along the coast line, following our guide, out to a snorkeling area near the side of a cliff. There was also an old abandoned ship wreck in the distance.

We tethered our speed boats to the main boat, got on our fins and masks, and jumped in for some beautiful, scenic snorkeling over the coral reef. The waves were calm enough not to give us much trouble. The coral reef was absolutely beautiful and the best we had seen thus far.

Some people got close enough to get near the ship wreck however, I didn't feel comfortable getting too cloose, as the wreck was against the cliff side and the waves got heavier and crashed along the wreckage. We spent a whole hour snorkeling the reef before we hopped back on our speedboats and headed back to shore.

There was one, and only one, downfall about the whole trip. If you are solo, be prepared to ride with a stranger as they do not allow you to take out single mini speedboats. Not the biggest deal but something to consider.

When we arrived back at our destination, there were clean restrooms for use, and refreshing, complimentary juice and fruit. The children enjoyed seeing the monkeys running around looking to get their hands on some of our goodies. You could order drinks or food from the nearby beach bar and restaurant located at the resort hotel on the beach.

Overall, i am happy we did this as it looked like the best excursion to do at St. Kitts while in on a Royal Caribbean Harmony of the Seas cruise docked for the day.

- I am so thankful for one of the staff because i left my GoPro in the speedboat and the guy could have easily stole it
- Speedboats are more stable and safe than jetskis
- You have someone in front and behind the group so you dont get lost even though everyone is together
- It is quite the long ride there and back, you will be tired when you get back so dont feel this isnt a long drive and not worth it
- What may not be worth it is the snorkeling. I didnt really see anything and i didnt see the tour guides at all in the water (although it is hard to see who is who, never had anyone check in on us or tell us where to go after getting into water)
- They only book on certain days i believe mondays and wednesday and fridays and some were booked out so make sure to book in advance

I would recommend this excursion especially if you dont want to do something boring like a catamaran boat ride (most people are getting over a cruise ship i wouldnt want to go on a slower boat ride) or arent into scuba diving or something more expensive.

The guides were amazing. We had a wonderful time and got to see sea turtles, a wreck, and lots of fish. Driving the speedboat was a lot of fun too! When we got back, we were treated to fresh fruit and juice.

My wife and I took this excursion from our cruise ship. We were the only ones there and we were met by a friendly, knowledgeable staff! They took us out for a two hour tour. It seemed that our safety and satisfaction were the only things important to them. We had two guides and their mission was to make sure we had a great experience. We had a lot of fun with them also cruising around in the speed boat was a blast! I would definitely do this again and I want to thank all the crew there for taking great care of us.
