We booked this excursion on a cruise, which was advertised as Fan-Ta-Sea Catamaran. I do believe we had an extra fun time because of the other couples and groups aboard with us, but regardless, it was an absolute blast. The crew was extremely interactive, had personal conversations with each and every person, joked around, played music and danced, encouraged us to dance, and overall just made the day fantastic. The food was delicious! One of the best parts of this particular catamaran experience - NOT OVERCROWDED. The excursion was booked with plenty of room to move around, find a different seat, lounge, and store personal belongings. I've been on other catamarans that pack people in like sardines, and it is not enjoyable!
The snorkeling was not exceptional, but was definitely a good time. As an experienced snorkeler, I was not disappointed. The excursion truly does last the majority of the day, and brings you to a beach on St. Nevis. The crew moved the bar from the boat to the sand, and we all had a blast.
I would highly recommend this catamaran excursion! It was very windy and even rained for a while and we STILL had one of the best days of the entire cruise.

This was a great day of sailing, beauty, snorkeling and fun. Our group of 12 people board in St. Kitts, along an amazingly beautiful coastline and stopped in a secluded cove for 2 hours of snorkeling. Amazing, spectacular underwater wildlife, coral, rocks and crystal clear water. Lunch followed our snorkeling and we continued on to Nevis, another beautiful sister island. Beaches and views are wonderful. Total 6 ½ hour trip. Crew was absolutely fun and helpful.

Overall this was a great trip. Scheduled for 10 am it got off to a bit of a late start (island time). We sailed to a nice area for snorkeling. Saw lots of pretty fish, lots of parrot fish and a large Caribbean lobster. We then had lunch - chicken, salad, rice and beans and a sweep potato dessert. We then sailed to Nevis where we walked on the beach and went to a nice place for drinks. We then sailed back to Port Zante at about 5 pm. There was a lot of great music on the boat and lots of dancing. Everyone seemed to have a great time. I recommend this trip.

Second year in sucession but this time also spent a couple of hours on Pinney's Beach with use of the Four Season's Hotel facilities in Nevis. Snorkelling , bufet meal on board with music . a very attentive crew. Only one problem if it can even be called that. The boat was unable to dock in Nevis .Had to anchor approx 30m from shore due to a sand bank. Had to wade to shore & was told it was waist level . Was chest level with belongings on our heads. I'm 5'11" . My nieces partner 6'3" my niece 4'11" & had to wear a boyancy ring. Those older were place on a bingy . Still entertaining though to participate & watch

This was our 2nd trip with Blue Water Safari's. The crew are professional and extremely friendly and can't do enough to make the day enjoyable. The snorkeling is excellent, the food on board was good & free bar was flowing. Spent a relaxing couple of hours on pinneys beach (Nevis) watch out for the 'killer bee' rum punch from Sunshine's bar... It's got a kick. Catamaran crew transferred the free bar to the beach so it's not necessary to spend anything else. They can also arrange a short tour of Nevis for those that don't want to stay on the beach.
I will definitely go on this tour again when we're back in St Kitts.

Excellent day sailing, snorkeling, sunning and enjoying a great lunch on board. The captain & crew were fun, attentive with the beverage service, and good with kids. The snorkeling spot was flush with fish— including parrotfish, yellowtail, gar, stingray and sea turtle. The beach in Nevis is gorgeous. Walked to Four Seasons and Sunshine Bar along the beach. Great day.

We took this last Saturday . It’s a little pricey for an excursion but what the hell . It left from the dock in St. Kitts . The crew was very friendly . The island is very scenic . The snorkeling was great . They had flippers thad fit my size 15 feet . I saw a stream of fish coming out of the rocks . So cool ! They took us over to a beach in Nevis . It was ok , nothing memorable . The lunch was very good . Overall this was like every catamaran trip we’ve been on .

The Catamaran Fan-ta-sea excursion, for once, had the perfect amount of people on board; not overcrowded like other tours we’ve been on. The staff, Shaquille, Raphael, Z and Captain Cracker, were all very friendly and accommodating. The day was perfect for sailing and snorkeling...calm waters. Snorkeled near a ship crashed near shore; lots of fish hanging around. My wife didn’t snorkel and she didn’t feel left out or ignored by the crew during that time. The lunch served was pretty decent for this type of outing. The usual salad, pasta salad and chicken curry potato salad (pretty good). The beach stop at Nevis wasn't the greatest. You had to purchase chairs and umbrellas if you wanted to get out of the sun and people were bothering you to purchase their wares. The drinks flowed all day, too much punch for some folks. It got a little loud on the way home with the music. All in all a nice day; it may be a little long for some older folks.

Started the day at 10am with a fantastic ride to the snorkeling area which was protected. Saw lots of fish. Lunch was delicious and so were the bottomless rum punch beverages. Went onto Nevis to Pinney’s Beach which was spectacular. There was an optional trip to a hot spring which I didn’t go to. All in all a great day. The crew took excellent care of us and even though there were over 20 people on the catamaran it never felt full. I would definitely do it again!

We had a great trip with a great crew. It was a beautiful day and we enjoyed relaxing on the net while the crew made sure we had everything we needed. We stopped for a while so everyone could snorkel or just float with a noodle. Then we were served a yummy lunch on the catamaran as we sailed to Nevis. We landed at a nice beach right next to the Four Seasons resort. Beach chairs and umbrellas are available for rent. They also offered an island hot springs tour for an additional $20, that then included a beach chair and umbrella when you returned. We spent our time in the water just chatting with folks. The guys were bringing all of us rum punch refills - into the water! It was a great day. I can't think of anything that would have made it any better. I highly recommend Blue Water Safaris!

Oh sure , they have to have one .A lot of people drink the whole time . It’s very sensitive though . Don’t flush anything other than toilet paper .
Our cruise ship leaves at 6pm. Will we make it back in time?

Yes, I believe you should. I remember them being on schedule but since we stayed at a hotel I wasn't really looking at my watch. It starts fairly onetime and at 7 hours should have you back to the dock around 4:30 that gives you almost an extra hour of wiggle room.
You can also email them, they were wonderful for responding promptly and accurately to questions.
At the Four Season’s Resort, are you allowed to use the pool by the beach?

I stopped by a few years ago and they wouldn't even let us sit on the lounge chairs, even though we had spa appointments at the resort.

The drinking age in St. Kitts is 18, yet this particular trip from Blue Water Safaris indicates that the minimum drinking age is 21. Are all their excursions similarly regulated/restricted, or is it just this one? Anyone know why these set this?

Does the catamaran accommodate people with gluten sensitivity?, do you serve vodka?
Do you have a bathroom on board?
Thanks
we will be saying on royal caribbean and have a 5 pm departure time, will that work for this day trip? Date is April 9th.

I would suggest contacting them - they should be able to accommodate you. They depart right at the cruise terminal, so they deal with cruise ships all the time.
