Highlights
See some of the prettiest spots in St. Maarten by motorboat
Pack a picnic or stop for lunch along the way
An open bar with free beer, rum punch, and soft drinks is available
Use of snorkel equipment is included
What to expect
Hop aboard the 39-foot motorboat Santino and meet your captain before departing Simpson Bay. From April to October, the route usually circumnavigates St. Maarten, with plenty of stops along the way. When the winter winds pick up and create big seas on the island's north side, the boat mainly stays on the beaches of the west coast, including a snorkeling stop at Creole Rock. Other typical stops include Long Bay (Baie Longue), Pinel Island, and Tintamarre, where it's possible to swim with sea turtles. You can bring along snacks and a picnic lunch, or stop in Grand Case to purchase food at traditional lolo shacks (own expense). Snorkel gear and bottled water are provided along with an open bar serving beer, sodas, rum punch, and fruit punch. When your 6.5-hour island tour concludes, you'll be dropped off at the starting point. Note: It is advised that you bring a Ziploc bag to keep your valuables dry. There is a small but practical marine toilet on board.

The BEST
Feb 2021
Capt Roy and Bobby are the best, We have been doing this excursion for years and absolutely love it. They are the best, Bobby got in the water snorkeling with everyone and showed any different fish, octopus, starfish. Couldn't ask for two better people to show us around the island by boat. There was 6 of us and as I said I've been doing this trip for years and this year brought friends with us who thoroughly enjoyed it. If you like to have fun this is the trip for you!

A must Do
Apr 2019 • Couples
I have done this tour 3 times, and it is always the best tour you could ever take. Such much for the money. To be able to see the whole island, and tintemarre and Pinel. Go snorkeling and have a delicious lunch at Grand case. So amazing. book early because it will sell out.

This 3-hr tour was perfect! Great snorkeling with lots of fish and great sunken sights to see. Our guide 'Junior" was superb, providing us with all the information on the fish and sights we needed. Will definitely go again.

Great Experience Around St Maarten!
Had a wonderful day travelling with Captain Roy and Nakeim aboard the Santino circling around the entire island!
We saw the sites from the water, slowing and stopping where necessary for commentary. We enjoyed the snorkelling, seeing turtle, barracuda, small stingray and other marine life. We stopped for lunch at a local grill, overlooking the water where the choices were many, food delicious and prices great! Then back to our journey which included more stops for snorkelling or swimming along the way. We met people from all over the world, including a mature US couple and a young Dutchman who always take the Santino every time they come to the island. We will probably do the same, next time we’re here!

Best day of our week.
Sep 2018 • Couples
If you only do 1 thing while in St. Maarten, this is the trip to take, no frills, great sightseeing, snorkeling, free flowing alcohol and stopping for local food. Roy and Junior are happy go lucky shipmates, they make a great day better and take great care of your needs.

Great value, very relaxed and total fun.

Santino Around the Island Tour is the BEST!
Jul 2018 • Couples
We just got back from St. Maarten and agree that the boat ride around the island on Santino is our absolute favorite thing to do in St. Maarten. It's so much fun! There are several stops to swim and snorkel in the most turquoise blue water you have ever seen anywhere. My favorite stop is Long Bay. I could stay there all day. It's absolutely beautiful. The captain, Roy, is the best and makes the entire trip fun.

What a beautiful day with a different perspective on the island!!!
May 2018 • Friends
We live just 28 miles from St. Maarten and come regularly to the island in order to do errands or just relax on the beach. We never really did any tourist trips and boy were we wrong not to!!!! I thought I knew the island pretty well, but by doing a boat trip around the island I noticed I do not know more than half of the island. The local crew on the boat is amazing and a lot of fun. Roy and OB understand how to cater to tourists and make your trip a memorable one. You can't beat the price for a whole day trip with snorkeling and free drinks for only $75! We will for sure be back and spend more time exploring the island from the sea. Kudos to a great operation with their management and staff!
