What to expect
Either the tour company picks you up at your hotel in St. Maarten (see Important Info for included hotels) or make your way to your boat. Find a spot in the sun or shade on the decks of the luxurious catamaran, the 'Lambada,' and enjoy the scenery as the boat sails up the western coast of the island to Plum Point, then across the channel to the neighboring island of Anguilla. Get to know your friendly crew and drink a few rum punches open bar on the way to your first stop, Prickly Pear Island. The boat moors at Prickly Pear, a small uninhabited cay off of Anguilla, so you can enjoy the quiet and solitude among the white sand and palm trees. Slip on some of the provided snorkel equipment and dive in, or simply swim up to the beach to lounge in the bathwater-warm shallows. Snorkelers float among the vibrant coral and groups of darting tropical fish. The crew may instead steer the boat towards the reefs off Prickly Pear Cay, depending on the weather and conditions. After your visit to Prickly Pear Cay and its surrounding reefs, climb back aboard the boat and dry out in the sun as the captain steers towards Road Bay, a lively stretch of beach on Anguilla proper. Upon landing on Anguilla, enjoy the provided barbecue buffet at a local restaurant that includes ribs, fish and chicken. Hang out at Road Bay Beach for the afternoon. Relax, stroll the stretch of sand or hit up one of the many beachside bars.  Your adventure in Anguilla ends with a sail back to St. Maarten, and drop-off at select hotels.

Lambada Catamaran Snorkel Feb 2020
Feb 2020
Perfect excursion for those that like to sail and snorkel. Loved the catamaran and the steps (drop down ladder) to the ocean worked so well for my friend and I. I have a broken wrist and she has a shoulder problem, but we could easily get into and out of the ocean and the staff were more than willing to help. The lunch was excellent on the island. The swim to the beach was fun and the sand and water were beautiful. The snorkeling was awesome and we were lucky that the "Skipper" pointed out a stingray swimming near the catamaran. The rum drinks were great and if you didn't like that, there were plenty of beer choices and other non-alcoholic drinks available. What a great time. I compliment the ease of booking with Aqua Mania and all of the staff were friendly and courteous. One of the highlights of our vacation on St. Maarten. Thank you to all of the staff that made this excursion so enjoyable.

Relaxing day trip
Feb 2020 • Solo
I met the tour at the dock half hour prior to leaving to allow time for check out and decide what to eat for lunch. Sea sickness was not too bad. First stop at Prickly Pear for snorkeling was fine. It did rain for a few minutes so that was an interesting experience. We docked in Anguilla and it was a very quiet couple of hours at the beach.

The crew was attentive and entertaining. Made sure you had something to drink. I liked the snack provided: tasty cheese, French bread and sliced apples.

A great day exploring neighboring islands!
Jan 2020
A day trip to remember!
It is usually a full boat with mix of people, while I was with 6 friends. It's a sails away to neighboring island Anguilla & Prickly Pear where we had the time to snorkel, walk on the sandy island and have a local lunch.
Eventhough it had rained a bit, there is enough shelter on the boat and the crew reassured everyone with drinks and snacks.
The boat is very stable and crew is incredibly friendly & accommodating.

I am made the best photo's during this trip and left with a big smile back home. I would definitely recommend to anyone , and will surely go again.
Thank you!

Amazing trip and day to Anguilla!
Jan 2020
This is my third trip to Anguilla and all have been on Lambada. The ride over is so beautiful! The Lambada staff is amazing...warm, genuine and fun. You dock on Rendezvous Bay and can either stay there for the day or take a bus ride to Shoal Bay. I always sign up for the Shoal Bay trip because (to me) the beach there is much nicer. You have to sign up for Shoal Bay when you book your trip. It's on a very private side of the island with luxury resorts and homes. The view, turquoise water and white sand are absolutely beautiful! You have to do this trip. It's excellent!

Excellent Day Trip!
Dec 2019 • Family
This was a nice day adventure to Anguilla and Prickly Pear island to snorkel. Don’t expect to see the type of fish you see in Hawaii, but it was still a beautiful white sand island to see. Lunch was delicious at a restaurant on Anguilla. It was an open bar on the boat and they provided snacks too. The staff was fun, friendly and lively. They played really good music on the boat. Albert and the rest of the crew were very accommodating and took care of us! I would highly recommend Aqua Mania adventures to all my friends.

Great Crew and time!
Dec 2019 • Couples
I went with my husband and our crew was Han (the captain), Atiba, Albert and Brenden. They’re memorable because they all made the trip so much fun! Great energy, music, drinks were flowing and the food at Roy’s (oldest bar in Anguilla) had some really incredible ribs! We enjoyed snorkeling and felt really safe/care free during the whole thing. We were on SXM for two weeks and this was one of our top favorite days! I highly recommend and try to book with the crew that we had if possible!
Thank you!

Fun catamaran trip in St Maarten
First off, if you're planning to snorkel and see lots of wonderful things, St Martin is not the best island for that. With that said this was a wonderful trip. We sailed over to Prickly Pear Island where there was a small reef and some fish, had a great lunch in a Shack on the beach, then sailed over to the edge of Anguilla where we got in one more swim before sailing back into Simpson Bay. Overall definitely worth the admission price,

Always a Great Trip
Nov 2019
Have done this trip 6 or 7 times. Always fun. Enjoy the sailing, the crew and the captain.

If you are looking for less sailing and more snorkeling, try another trip.

Long Time Sailing
Nov 2019
Two hours sailing to a mooring ball off of Prickly Pear Island where we could snorkel over dead coral reef with limited fish caused by hurricane. Then long sail again to tired beach of Anguilla.
Lambada is a nice catamaran with a great crew. It's just the itinerary is not worth wasting a day unless you love being on the water all day. Better to hit the beach bars around St. Martin.

Hi blacy2015 Thank you for taking the time to leave us a candid review. We hope you have an opportunity to try some of the many snorkel, sailing, and boating trips that Aqua Mania has to offer, and find one more suited to your liking. Lambada is a great day sail with crew with some snorkeling and beaching but perhaps Santino Round the Island or our Sand Dollar Snorkel trip may offer better snorkeling for your enjoyment. We look forward to having you back on board.
