This tour company provided a very nice tour of different parts of Bonaire. We got to see the salt flats, slave huts, flamingos, the Cadushy distillery and the highest point of the island. Some of our group was able to be dropped off at the beach and the others dropped off at the ship. Great tour with a wonderful guide.

A wonderful informative tour taking us to the main sights of Bonaire. Our small comfortable minibus was driven with care by a charming knowledgeable lady.
We saw the Slave huts, Flamingos, the pink Salt Lake and tasted an unusual liqueur made out of cactus. I would highly recommend this tour.

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with Billy. She's great!
It was easy to find her when we got off the ship. Nice van.
She knows a great deal about the island and shared her knowledge with us.
So glad we met her and got to see the island.

Bonaire is one of the port destinations for our 10-day Southern Caribbean Medley cruise on Royal Princess. After we did our research, we picked Bonaire Vista Tours for our tour in Bonaire. We were happy that we chose Bonaire Vista Tours. The tour cost of US$35 per person is quite reasonable and we gave extra US$10 tips to Brian after the excellent tour he delivered.
The van has very good air conditioning and sitting inside was very comfortable (we were on the second row after the driver row). The tour lasted for about 3 hours. We went back to the ship around 1:00 PM for lunch and the ship left at 2:00 PM.
Because of this tour, we got a very good understanding of Bonaire. We saw flamingo in the Gotomeer Lake; we saw a great view of the Bonaire from Seru Largu; we saw the impressive pink water in the salt pans and the massive piles of pristine salt; we also saw the historical white slave huts.
We are happy that we went for this tour. Next time if we go to visit Bonaire again, we will walk around the downtown area and may go to the beach for some fun beach time. The water in Bonaire is so clear that you can see the fishes and white sea urchins close on the shore.

Even before we arrived on Bonaire, I knew that Brian was no ordinary guide, and that this would be no ordinary tour.
I contacted Bonaire Vista and explained to them that we were only going to be on the island for a few hours, and wanted to see as much as possible. Their website says $35 pp minimum of 4 people, but I asked if it would be possible to do a tour for just 2, if we paid for 2 more people, and they said it wasn't a problem. We did the regular tour, but I asked if it would be possible to add Landhuis Karpata and the underwater cave, and Brian made it happen.
They replied to each of my e-mails very quickly. They were really patient, and exchanged several e-mails with me, before we finally settled on an itinerary and price. At first, I thought $165, was a bit much for a 4 hour tour, but by the end of the tour, we felt we got our money's worth.
Brian was AMAZING! Typical Aruban personality. We were expecting to be walking around the airport looking for the van, but Brian was really easy to find. He met us at the airport, and as soon as we walked out of the passport control, he was standing RIGHT THERE. He BOUGHT us breakfast, and when I say "bought", I do mean he actually paid for it, than took us to his van, so we could start the tour as quickly as possible, as he knew we only had a few hours on the island.
We visited the Salt Pans, White Slave Huts, Kralendijk (just drove through), 1,000 Steps, Landhuis Karpata, Gotomeer Lake, Rincon (just drove through), Seru Largu, and the underwater cave. Brian than showed us a good restaurant and spot for reef snorkeling, and I asked him drop us by Fort Oranje, as we still had a few hours left on the island.
I'm SO glad we did this tour with Brian, and I'm even more glad it was just him and us, as we were able to see places, and connect with him in a way, we would never have been able to, on a normal tour. At first, Brian was nothing more than a regular tour guide. By the middle of the tour, we were exchanging jokes and funny stories. And by the end of the tour, when the two of us went into the cave, Brian felt more like a friend I've known for years, than a tour guide.
The underwater cave was the highlight of my ENTIRE trip. I'm SO glad I visited the cave with Brian. I couldn't have picked a better guide. It turns out that when Brian isn't giving tours, he's busy mapping the island's vast cave system. So no one knows these caves better than him. And the fact that we had the entire place to ourselves, made it even more amazing!
At first I was worried that 12 hours on the island won't be enough, but thanks to Brian, we were able to experience everything we wanted to on Bonaire, and see parts of the island we never would on our own. We also learned SO many interesting facts about the island, that you won't find on the internet.
The entire day was perfect!
My only disappointment was that we didn't stop in Rincon to walk around. We only drove through it. But other than that, the tour was perfect!
I am SOOOOO glad I did this tour with Brian and Bonaire Vista. If you're looking for a private guide to show you the island, hire Brian. BEST TOUR COMPANY AND TOUR GUIDE EVER!!!!!

I booked this tour through Viator on Trip Advisor ahead of time, but there is a booth (umbrella covered area) right outside the two cruise docks in Bonaire. Just walk out and look for their sign. Delightful morning spent with Jolien, who was outstanding. We had never been to this island, so a wonderful way to see all the sights and learn something about both the history and current-day life. See more and pay less than booking through the cruise line.

I booked this tour online before travelling on the basis of the great reviews on Trip Advisor. Communication with Barbel and Brian was straightforward. We met our guide Edwin at the quayside and set off in our minivan. Edwin was very friendly and knowledgable and happy to answer all our questions. The whole tour was great but the highlights for me were the salt flats and the flamingo sanctuary. Overall a great afternoon trip and a great overview of a beautiful island.

This was an excellent half day tour of Bonaire and really gave us a flavour of the island and life on it.
We joined an afternoon tour on 7 November 2016 for what turned out to be one of the best and most informative tours of our holiday. The starting point at the North Pier was very easy to find in accordance with the advance instructions and only a few minutes’ walk from where our cruise ship was berthed. Because we arrived early, we had time to sit and have a chat with Barbel and have some water in the shade before the tour started. We were with four other people in a very comfortable air-conditioned mini-bus that had great visibility – there’s nothing worse than being squashed in with a window post in your way and this certainly wasn’t the case here. Unlike some tours, this one covered both the north and south of the island so we really go to see a lot of Bonaire. Our guide, Mica, was very knowledgeable and told us loads of interesting facts about the island, its people and what its like to live there and she pointed out so much along the way that we would have missed if we had driven ourselves or taken a taxi. We were able to get out at all the main places to take photos e.g. at the salt flats which were amazing, and seeing turtles swimming at the beach of 1000 steps (although there are only 67!) and Mica also made some unscheduled stops when someone wanted to get out of the minibus to see or photograph something more closely. All in all, this was a tour with a personal touch and we would thoroughly recommend it.

We booked this tour on-line and arrived on NCL Dawn, the guide met us right at the pier. Our guide was very friendly and explained everything about the salt pan and how the salt is collected. We also saw the Flamingos at the different lakes. We also saw the slave houses. This is a full island tour with too much to explain here. Highly recommend.

I'll be arriving with my boyfriend on May 6 from Carnival Horizon. WE arrive at 8 and don't leave until 10pm. Can we be dropped off by one of your beaches after the tour?

The Plaza resort offers a day pass. Please inquire with your cruise operator. If you opt to see other beaches, I recommend the Discover Bonaire tour.

We left around 10 am and returned by 1pm. The afternoon tour leaves at around 1pm I believe. The booth is located right off the ship there are several vendors but they are the first booth on the left hope this helps.
