How do you beat your 12 year old expressing his thoughts," This was the best vacation of my entire life. It was amazing." That was all of our thoughts after taking the helicopter ride with Nate over the Grand Canyon on the Maverick helicopter. Top...More
Take in the Grand Canyon from the air on this 45-minute helicopter flight, and see sections you can’t access on a bus or walking tour. You’ll travel through one of the widest and deepest sections of the Grand Canyon, Dragon Corridor, and pass over two other areas, the North and South Rims. Aboard your helicopter with wraparound windows, you’ll also view Kaibab National Forest, the Colorado River, and Painted Desert.
Meet for this Grand Canyon helicopter tour at Grand Canyon Airport in Tusyan, Arizona. Check in, board your helicopter with wraparound windows, and get ready for a flight above the canyon.
You’ll start at the South Rim, and enjoy a bird’s-eye view of sights including Kaibab National Forest, the Colorado River, Painted Desert, Desert View Watchtower, Marble Canyon, Dragon Corridor, and Point Imperial.
Your flight also flies to the North Rim, so you can take pictures of that part of the canyon, too. This is one of the few tours that’s able to cover two rims of the canyon in such a short amount of time.
Your Grand Canyon helicopter flight ends back where it started—at the Grand Canyon Airport.
Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years and older will be required to show photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.
