    Great tour of Yilan
    Our tour guide was Tokuya and he was really friendly and took us around Yilan for the tour. We really enjoyed our time at all the spots especially Kavalan distillery and the geothermal park. The duck restaurant for lunch was very good as well. Highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to go to Yilan from Taipei for a day trip!

    great day trip to get out of city and see some really cool stuff
    This was a great day trip outside the center of the main city. Our guide/driver Steven was friendly, knowledgeable and helped make the day truly enjoyable and memorable. The geopark was especially awesome as was the lantern lighting at the end of the tour. Warning....be prepared for many, steep challenging steps in Jiuffen....but the food and the views were great. enjoy --D&E

    An amazing experience - so worth it!
    Jimmy was the most amazing tour guide - going above and beyond to give us an excellent tour. Each of the scenic stops were beautiful and Jimmy had a great understanding of the history of every place. We loved our tour and felt like VIPs the whole time. Thanks Jimmy!

    Need towel and swim suit
    Elephant sanctuary is not an elephant zoo. Here the elephants roam free they feed their monkey friends and you get a chance to join them in the pool with guide. Bring your own towel!

    Private City Tour for 2
    Nice to have a private tour of Taipei with a very careful driver. Our driver was very flexible and even took us to a site not on the normal tour route. We took the tour on our first day and he (Vincent Lee, YOLO TOURS) gave us a lot of ideas for our following days. He also loved to take pictures at all the stops. Great views from Elephant mountain.

    Super Smooth Trip!
    Had a great time at the stunningly beautiful Taroko Gorge with guide Vincent Lee. I was most impressed by his planning to get around road closures (due to roadworks) and avoiding the peak traffic and crowds, such that we had a super smooth trip that avoided the crowds.

    Excellent customised tour
    James did a great job in driving me around the outskirt of Taipei. I requested for a customized tour as I intended to visit less crowded places on Sunday. James is very knowledgeable and drove me to places like Shifen waterfall, Pingxi Station, Golden Waterfall, and Tofu Street. He recommended Ah Zhu Seafood for lunch which was delicious. James even offered helped to take photos during the journey. Overall, it was a great trip. Keep up the good work James!

    Perfect way to spend a long layover!
    We had a great time during our layover in Taiwan. Our tour guide Jack is very knowledgeable and accomodating. He communicated with us days in advance. Even though our flight was delayed, he was able to accomodate us & we were still able to see a lot of great places! Highly recommend!

    Took a day trip to Taroko National Park with Yolo. Our guide Aaron was fantastic! Friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating! Thoroughly enjoyed the trip!

    Great layover tour of Taipei
    We are party of two visiting Taiwan for the first time. Our guide Jack was wonderful. He communicated well before our trip to coordinate meeting logistics, and was very flexible at adjusting the tour to our needs. We saw some amazing places, ate great food and had a wonderful time in the city for six hours. Highly recommend.

    Day Trip to Taroko Gorge
    Hicks Wang was a fantastic tour guide! Very knowledgeable and took us to such wonderful places to explore. We thoroughly enjoyed our entire day trip to visit the beautiful Taroko Gorge National Park! Truly stunning. Would recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a private guided tour!

    It was a fun layover tour that we booked. It is both our first time in Taipei and Taiwan. Our excellent tour guide Jimmy Lin very knowledgeable and patient. We hightly recommend this service.

Great day trip!

I had a wonderful customized full day tour thanks to my guide Joseph Sun! We explored Yangmingshan National Park and Yehliu Geopark. Joseph picked me up at my hotel on time, recommended hiking trails in both parks, and gave me plenty of time to explore each area. If you're visiting Taipei and want to take a day trip out of the city, then I highly recommend booking with YOLO Taiwan!

A great day out of the city

Jimmy was ery punctual and was at our hotel before 9:00AM. After asking us what we wanted to see, he recommended the best itineray to minimize the crowds, as it was still the Chinese New Year holiday time. We first went to Jiufen, and after walking through the charming alleys and market, went for tea at Amei teahouse. Aftereatds we heading to Shifen to weite our wishes on a lantern which we watched fly into the heavens. A visit and walk to the beautiful Shifen waterfall followed. Finally we visited the spectacular Yehliu Geopark before heading back to our hotel in Taipei. It was an amazing day and Jimmy was very flexible, patient and accommodating to everything we asked. I highly recommend this tour.

Highly recommended for families

It has been a fun-filled day tour with our guide James. He's been very accomodating with my requests as I'm travelling with 2 seniors and a pregnant wife. James came to our hotel on-time to pick us up and has been very kind and friendly to everyone of us. We were able to visit all the places as per our itinerary and really enjoyed the beautiful sceneries up north of Taiwan. I would highly recommend this tour for families traveling soon to Taiwan!

Our guide James was very knowledgeable and fun to be around. Most of all he was very kind and accommodating, always making sure we, especially our kids, were having a good time. He drove very well, but our little girl still got motion sickness in his car - he cleaned everything up without any complaint at all. Best way to get around in a relaxed, comfortable manner.

Amazing tour with Vincent Lee. He didn't even ask us to write a review but I felt the need to because he was so personable, friendly and knowledgeable.

We had 4 nights in Taipei for vacation and we wanted to make the best of our trip. Knowing very little about Taiwan, we thought it would be best to hire a tour guide to show us around. The tour was 8 hours in total and worth every dollar. We were picked up from our hotel in Toyota Camry and our tour began. We chose the 1PM tour (the latest) and so glad we did because we got to see Jiufen at night with all the lanterns lit.

The tour is customizable so you are able to set which destinations you want to see so that was really awesome.

One thing to keep in mind is to download Line or WhatApp so that you are able to message your driver prior to your tour. This will help in organizing your itinerary and arranging the time and pick up place if plans happen to change.

All in all, a great experience and highly recommend. Vincent, if you see this, thank you again for an amazing day,

Excellent Tour Guide; Wonderful Tour!
My tour guide, Harry, was exceptional! I was solo and being with him, from the very start, was like being with a friend! Harry’s communication (very fluent in English) and knowledge of the sites and food choices at the markets made this an unforgettable experience!

Regarding the itinerary, this tour gives one a beautiful view of the sea (great to get out of the city for a while) and a fun time in the quaint mountain side villages.

Perfect introduction to Taiwan

Jimmy was an outstanding guide who was able to show more of Taiwan in a day than I thought I'd see in three days. I had booked 8 hours and we ended up doing about 5 hours outside of Taipei City and 3 hours within it, and the time was used extremely well. I had never had a guide before who operated entirely without a navigation system - Jimmy knew Taiwan like the back of his hand. He also functioned as an interpreter who enabled many conversations with locals. This tour was on my first full day ever in Asia and I couldn't have had a better start.

Amazing Day And Amazing Guide
Everything about this tour was top notch!

Booking was super easy - Eddie was great in helping how to customize our day!

Our guide Roger communicated with us promptly before the tour, picked us up right on time in a brand new car and was totally friendly and very informative throughout the day.

He was 100% accommodating when we needed pictures taken, washroom stops or when we asked the same question for the 10th time!

And of course the sites were better than advertised, just beautiful.

Highly recommended tour and Roger is a highly recommended guide!

Jiufen and taipei city tours 2 days
Vincent was the most efficient english speaking tour guide and driver we ever met. He made us feel as if he was just touring some friends around his place.
He was also flexible in that we just customized our trip and we were able to change the itinerary along the way.
I would highly recommend Vincent as well as YOLO to anyone wanting to visit taiwan.
You would need to download the whatsapp app for efficient and fast communication with the guide as well as the company.

Amazing how much we covered in a day!

We started this tour from Taipei downtown where the tour guide, Mr Jack, met us promptly at our hotel to pick us up in a private car. The tour was very personalised and Jack was excellent in every aspect - good manners, English speaking which helped us a lot, and flexible to add new places if those were nearby. He explained about all places in much detail, was very patient to our queries and even took us to a restaurant with one of the most picturesque views! Looking back, it amazes me as to how much we covered in a single day around Taipei! Highly recommended!
