We were on a family holiday and had come from Berchtesgaden. We had a direct 40 minute flight from Munich to Genoa. We arrived at the airport and the Lufthansa system went down. The staff member at the check in printed our bag tags and checked in our bags. The flight was delayed but we were ok with that as it happens. We were told they didn’t have enough ground staff. We finally boarded our flight and flew direct to Genoa. When we arrived we waited for an hour for our bags. Finally a customer service lady came out and said 60 bags didn’t arrive as they were not loaded! We were told to line up and process a lost baggage form. We were in Italy for 5 days and had absolutely nothing. We went to our room in Sestri Levante an out away from Genoa and was told that the airline would deliver our bags the next day. We were all in winter clothes as it was cool in Berchtesgaden. We arrived in Sestri and it was very hot. We had no bathers nothing. The next day came and went, no bags. We rang customer service who were not helpful and said they would come the next day. Customer service is in Albania! This went on for 3 days. We were furious as my husbands medication was in the bags and we knew they were at Munich. Finally we were told they were at the airport and yo ho and pick them up. We caught a train and walked for 45 mins in 36 degree heat to the airport. We arrived to be told they didn’t arrive. Again we called customer service who said they were there. We rang again and they said no they missed the flight. We then spent $120 euro on an Uber to get home as we missed the last train. Every day we were lied to , it ruined our trip as we were stuck waiting for our bags. Eventually we purchased some basic clothes and bathers as we had travelled from Australia for the holiday of a lifetime yet it was being ruined by Lufthansa. We were told to keep receipts and we would be compensated due to their error in jit loading our bags. The stress this caused was enormous and it wrecked our trip. Our bags never came and we spent a week in Italy and 4 days in London for 4 people with nothing but the clothes on our backs. Our bags finally arrived back in Australia 3 weeks later. 2 bags were very damaged. We kept all the receipts and placed our claim. Lufthansa still have not paid a cent and keep putting it off. It should be illegal and probably is what they are doing. They obviously hope it will all be too hard and you will go away. It has now been 2 months of us fighting to be compensated for the clothes etc that they told us to buy. We were not extravagant and didn’t even buy make up etc. just basic h and m tops bathers and windcheaters. DO NOT FLY LUFTHANSA. This has been a nightmare. I would ask if their customer service staff read this to contact me as I am going to tell everyone on socials not to touch them with a barge pole as they have no customer service and do not compensate you or apologise for ruining your trip. Worst customer service ever!!!…

Really good airline overall, I had no problems whatsoever. The boarding was decent not that quick but still not slow, the staff were friendly and kind. I would just criticize the food on board a little bit I did not like it that much, bu this is just a personal preference I guess.…

first time in Premium economy was a very good experience. I usually fly business but didnt want to pay the price as it was a last minute booking. Easy check in in Los Angeles ( except for a very unpleasant young man with an attitude and no clue about any information I wanted about my layover etc.) Very organised boarding and a very comfy seat lovely service and a great flight despite the delay.....…

Our flight was cancelled and delayed more than 24 hours, and they rebooked us to a flight with 13 hours fly time instead of the 3 we booked. This makes ud eligible for the 400 euro reimbursemnet pr ticket pr european law, but theese airlinas are snakes!!! I have benne trying repeatedly so get my money back, with no success. First they didn't recognise my first complaint, then i tried to called lufhansa, but it is not possible to talk by phone to the people that takes care of such things. Then i send multiple new complaints and finally they responded grating my girlfriend the mandatory reimbuesment but not me. Now that's 3 months ago and she hasn't received anything, neither of us have heard anything about progression, why i havent been either accepted or denied, nothing. Worst airline, no wonder their employees lay down work, what a disaster. Do yourself af favor, choose something else, or live with the consequenses.…
