Havana - Santiago de CubaDomestic

This company is the worst and one of the worst in the world, apart from being operated by the military under the command of the dictators, it has no presedents in aviation security issues. In the last 7 years there are already 3 accidents in which they are involved and whether for one thing or another there are always violations of safety or preparation I say it from my own experience. I do not recommend that any foreigner travel on this airline, it is not safe at all.

To and from Havana and Baracoa

Baracoa - HavanaDomesticEconomy

Awful says everything about this Airline. But you are in Cuba, so you have no other choirs but for the bus and at least 20 yours from Baracoa to Havana. We had reservation and thickets fore the 3rd. But because of this amazing system they have here in Cuba, Havana had not informed them in Baracoa of our names for the flight. And they are simply not able to take any dicision on their own. So, despite all our papers said the 3rd a sack there toll us we could not go because she had closed the system. But one of her co-workers said off coarse we could come along. But not before we had to pay for new thickets. Thanks God we have friends in Baracoa so they can get the money back for our first set of thickets. Otherwise we would have lost 145 $ each just because this stupid airline makes a mistake and wish not to admit they where wrong, even when we had thickets for the right day. I dare not think where we would be if we were not with a local guide, for none of us speak Spanish and none of the staff spoke English. The plane itself was also awful. The fold down table had not been cleaned for, well never on the looks of it. Dirty and sticky. Heard from others that the wc was not clean either and had a very bad smell. PS. They do not take credit card, so have plenty of cash on you if you are forced to fly with then. They only get the one star, because giving them zero is not possible.

Grubby Airline; Unfriendly Staff

Dirtiest airline I have ever travelled with. Cant't begin to describe the 'grubbiness'. I understand the staff speaks very little English but cannot understand why they, and the staff at Santiago de Cuba, a stop before Havana, are so cold and unfriendly. Dumped at a different airport than our destination.

Havana - BaracoaDomesticEconomy

On January 6th we (a tour group) boarded the flight 1h and 30 minutes late because of the lateness of the plane. Our flight never landed in Baracoa our destination. Instead we landed in Santiago de Cuba. We had no communication as to WHY we were diverted there and no other form of transportation to take us to our final destination was given to us. We did not receive any COMMUNICATION whatsoever about what to do. Thankfully our tour guide rearranged our visit from Baracoa to Santiago de Cuba. I think we should have been told THE REASON for the diversion and that another form of transport provided to get us to Baracoa our final destination. This kind of SECRETIVE BEHAVIOUR is not ACCEPTABLE from a responsible airline.
